Brief process of making a leather carryall


This was a bag recently completed for an order. The client wasn't too keen with the usual brown so she opted for the forest green vege tanned instead. I've taken some shots to briefly show the process of creating this carryall which I would like to share especially to those who are considering picking up this skill.



Transferring the paper pattern to cutting leather


Installing the D rings for the shoulder straps


 

Stitching is done using 2 needles and linen thread
 with the help of a stitching clamp to hold it in place
